ART COLLECTION #9. ART FAIRS.

It's a pleasure resuming this review, since this year it's going to become more and more interesting and a useful tool for art lovers who want to start collecting.
Another excellent occasion to see contemporary art is given by fairs, where you only have to pay the entrance ticket. Besides the Affrodable Art Fair, here are some of the most important faires in Europe, the United States and Australia. Many galleries take part to fairs, and this makes it easier to choose and purchase.
Have you ever been to an Art Fair? A romantic note: do you know it seems many people meet and fall in love during such cultural events?

ART COLLECTION # 2

Clockwise. FONDAZIONE PRADA, Miuccia Prada, GUGGENHEIM Museum Bilbao,
Abby Rockefeller, Peggy Guggenheim, MOMA Museum NY.

THE GREAT COLLECTIONIST

From Mecenate to Reinassance Princes, from Abby Aldrich Rockefeller, who contributed to founding the MOMA to Peggy Guggenheim, one would say the necessary condition for becoming an art collector is being a millionaire.
But it's clear this is not the only characteristic needed, otherwise we could not explain the fact that, according to Artribune, Miuccia Prada, founder of the Fondazione Prada, should be the only italian collector of our days. It's clear that, if you want to invest in art, the first thing you need is passion, and a certain vision.
History teaches that this passion is often payed back with a lot of success, and thanks to those who believed in culture and supported artists we can visit marvellous museums and collections. Millions of visitors and the rich business surrounding these realities proof that culture can really move money.
Charles Saatchi knows it well, having created a real art empire during the last two decades, bringing culture into a 2.0 consumer dimension.

ART COLLECTION # 1. INTRO.

We will soon understand with the Digital Portraits interviews (the first one is scheduled for next Wednesday, so don't miss it!), the artist today needs to work with the internet as well as with traditional means of communication, and this has deeply changed the visibility of their work respect to the past.
Internet offers the opportunity to meet, stay in touch, communicate, exchange ideas and opinions with other artists and art lovers.
Even the way to buy artworks has changed, and people can often directly contact the artist or even buy online.
And buying art is a very good habit.
ART COLLECTION will re-search in the market of art 2.0.
