NUOVE OPERE. Studio n°1. Impressioni di settembre. - NEW ARTWORKS. Studio n°1. September feeling.

Dalla luce calda di settembre è nata la nuova serie di opere nella foto.

L’ho chiamata Studio N°1 perché si tratta di uno studio, un compendio, una miscela delle serie precedenti, unificata da una precisa scelta cromatica nei toni caldi del verde salvia, seppia, grigio blu e giallo.

Questi colori mi fanno pensare al sole radente, alla terra umida, alle foglie scolorite.

I disegni ad inchiostro si rifanno infatti a quelli delle serie Botanica, Paesaggi e Mappe, e si sono estesi anche nelle Cellule.

La serie è composta da 10 opere dipinte ad acquerello e inchiostro su carta, di dimensione A3, cm 29,7 × 42 realizzate su carta 100% cotone Fabriano Artistico 640gr/mq.

E questi lavori hanno una particolarità, ma ne parlerò nel prossimo post...

The warm light of september inspired the new series of paintings in the photo.

I named it Study N°1 because it’s a study, a mixture, a synthesis of the previous series, unified by a color choice ranging from green, sepia, grayish blue and yellow.

These colors make me think of oblique sunbeams, damp soil and faded washed-out leaves.

The ink drawings echo those of the series Botanica, Landscapes and Maps, and found their way through the Cells series also.

The series is made of 10 watercolour paintings on paper, A3 cm 29,7 × 42, inches 16.5 x 11.7, on 100% cotton Fabriano Artistico 640gr/mq paper.

These works are really peculiar, for a special reason I will tell you in the next post...
