NEW ARTWORKS. UNICORNS AND VOLCANOES

Dopo aver esplorato il mondo emotivo legato al femminile con i Racconti Rosa non ho potuto fare a meno di approfondire questo argomento infinito.

Le donne hanno il potere di creare la vita, di fabbricare letteralmente le persone, di farle crescere fisicamente e sviluppare psicologicamente, ma queste responsabilità sono sottostimate nella nostra società. 

Alle donne oggi è garantito l'accesso all'istruzione e hanno avuto la possibilità di dimostrare quanto sono brave, ciononostante i loro compensi sono inferiori a quelli dei colleghi maschi. 

Essendo una donna, sento fortemente la necessità di ridefinire l'immagine che abbiamo di noi stesse e scoprire chi siamo, oltre ogni inutile stereotipo e con un occhio amorevole su noi stesse.

After having explored women's emotional world with my Pink Tales, I could not help but deepen and explore this infinite topic.

Women have the power of creating life, of literally making people and make them grow phisically and develop psyhologically but these responsibilities are far too underestimated in our society. 

Women today are granted access to instruction and have had the possibility to show how good they are, still their wages are lower than those of men.

Being a woman, I do feel we need to redefine our self image and discover who we are, beyond any useless sterotype and with a loving eye on ourselves.

La cifra essenziale della personalità e del lavoro di Rèka Fogarasi si può riassumere in un eclettismo creativo, curioso e decisamente anti-noia che mescola la passione per il design e l’arte con l’esperienza di web marketing.

Non è quindi semplice riassumere tutte le cose di cui Réka si occupa, ma ci proverò lo stesso.

Partirò dal suo quartier generale, Life by the lake, un blog pieno zeppo di spunti, oggetti, idee, arte, architettura, impressioni raccolte qua e là durante una vita vissuta in Svezia, Ungheria, Inghilterra, Italia e ora in Svizzera.

“Qua e là” è anche la traduzione dell’ungherese ide&oda, giovanissima agenzia per la promozione di eventi d’arte e design, che dopo la mostra dell’artista ungherese Nóra Soós ha in programma un evento dedicato al Nordic Design.

Réka è anche produttrice del progetto The Design Film Company, a cui presta la sua decennale esperienza nel web marketing, che si occupa di creare video di alta qualità per hotels, proprietà, ristoranti e ditte di design e architettura.

Dal lago di Ginevra per ora è tutto, ma sono sicura che ci saranno presto altre novità, da leggere in Life by the lake.

The most striking feature of the life and work of Réka Fogarasi is a versatile, curious and anti-boredom mix of passion for art and design and web experience.

Her headquarters, Life by the lake, is a wonderfully eclectic blog full of objects, ideas, art, architecture, impressions from here and there inspired by her life experience in Sweden, Hungary, Italy, UK and Switzerland.

And “here and there” is the translation of the Hungarian expression ide&oda, a newborn company organizing art and design events that, after featuring young Hungarian artist Nóra Soós, is now preparing an exhibition about Nordic Design.

With over a decade’s experience in web marketing, Rèka is also the producer of The Design Film Company, makes high quality videos for hotels, properties, restaurants and design and architect firms.
