Oggi possiamo avere la possibilità di visitare quegli spazi molto privati.
In Italia, il museo MACRO di Roma ha organizzato l'anno scorso Studi d'artista: Open Studio, un programma che prevede di offrire a 4 artisti uno spazio all'interno del museo per alcuni mesi, dove potranno lavorare e che sarà visitabile alla fine del soggiorno.
Ma è anche possibile, in alcuni periodi dell'anno, visitare gli studi, così dovrete solo digitare "open studios" e il nome della vostra città, per avere questa possibilità e scoprire quali artisti si rendono disponibili ad aprire le porte sul loro lavoro.
E se c'è un artista che amate particolarmente, potete cercare nel suo sito se accetta visite in studio. Non abbiate paura di chiedere!
The best, most exciting and enticing way of getting close to art, is having the privilege of visiting the artists' studios.
In the picture you can see the studios of some true art geniuses, can you imagine what emotion and privilege it could have been to see how they worked?
Nowadays we sometimes have the possibility to enter those private places.
In my country the museum MACRO, in Rome, organized in 2012 Studi d'artista: Open Studio, inviting four artists to create a studio and work inside the museum for a limited period of time, at the end of which visitors can enter the studios.
But it's often possible, in certain periods of the year, to visit the studios, so what you should do is just to digit "open studios" and the name of your city to discover those artists who decided to open their door to visitors.
And if there is an artist you particularly love, you can search in their website if they accept visits. Don't be afraid to ask!
