IN MY STUDIO. Quello che resta. 2013.

Ho già lavorato molto negli ultimi anni su questa serie, 

perchè mi piace riusare i preziosi scarti del mio lavoro, 

sia la carta che i colori.

E questa volta ho sperimentato nuovi colori e collage, 

e anche la carta e le dimensioni sono nuove.

Ho fatto una serie di 10 opere grandi (cm ... x ...) 

e una di 12 piccole (cm... x cm...)

su carta Fabriano Artistico 640gr/mq.

Spero che le foto rendano giustizia al cromatismo.

I've already worked so much on this series over the last few years, 

since I always love to reuse the precious waste of my work, 

both the paper and the colours.

And this time I experimented new colors and collage,

and even the paper and the size are new. 

I created a series of 10 large artworks (...)

and a series of 12 smaller ones (....)

on Fabriano Artistico 640gr/mq paper.

Fall approaching

Si capisce che sta lentamente arrivando l'autunno dal movimento lento del sole, che traccia ombre lunghe con i suoi raggi obliqui. Tramonti ventosi e notti fresche sono già qui, ma non siamo ancora pronti a mettere i sandali, e ci godiamo caldi pomeriggi.

Una nuova stagione sta cominciando, e io cerco nuove energie per creare nuove opere.

You can tell fall is slowly approaching by the slow motion of the sun tracing oblique sunbeams and longer shadows. Breezy sunsets and chilly nights are already here, still we're not ready to put off our sandals and we're so glad to enjoy warm afternoons. 

A new season is beginning, and I'm finding new energies to create new works.

NEW ARTWORKS. Quello che resta. Geometria, Stains, Architecture, Triangles.

In questa primavera produttiva ho lavorato molto con la serie Quello che resta. 

Questi nuovi dipinti saranno esposti alla mostra che si terrà a Ginevra la settimana prossima, e che proseguirà fino a tempo indeterminato nel negozio di ide&oda, sempre a Ginevra.

Questa serie di lavori è realizzata con rimanenze di carte e colori. Le strisce di carta sono state colorate, ritagliate e incollate su carta abbinando i colori in maniera a volte casuale, a volte secondo precise scelte cromatiche. 

Il tema della casualità e del riuso si scontrano con la preziosità dei materiali e della carta di altissima qualità.

In this very productive springtime, I have worked hard on the That What Remains series.

These new paintings will be on display during my next exhibition in Geneve, 

starting next week at the Nest Gallery and then moving to ide&oda shop.

This series of works was created with remains of papers and colours. The strips of paper were coloured, cut and glued on paper matching colours randomly, or according to precise chromatic choices.

The theme of reuse and casualty collide with the preciousness of the materials and paper.

IN MY STUDIO. Spring working.

Durante i giorni passati ho lavorato così tanto, e il lavoro è stato così produttivo, che sono veramente felice e passerei la vita a dipingere.

Mi sono anche dimenticata di postare l' ART COLLECTION del lunedì.

Sto lavorando anche con la serie Quello che resta con vari abbinamenti cromatici.

Ecco alcuni abbozzi per la prossima mostra.

During the last days I've been working so much and my work's been so pruductive, that I'm particularly happy and would go on painting my whole life through. 

I even forgot posting the Monday ART COLLECTION post.

I'm also working on different palettes for the That What Remains series.
